January Bird T-shirt from Monsterthreads

I do have a yen for tee that feature our feathered friends (I don’t know why, but that’s me) and the Australian based collective (or collaboration, as they insist on putting it) Monsterthreads , has one that is a beauty – or possibly a beaut (see what I did there?) Anyway, this particular T-shirt is by Josh who is based who knows where, but who has produced an almost incandescent bird thing – is it a toucan (?) or some kind of weird Australian avian, anyway it just glows off the shirt and even in the grey days of winter gives a happy uplifting vibe to an outfit. I can’t translate 35 $Aus in any meaningful way in my head, but that’s what it costs, plus postage of course.

I featured some superb tee designs at Singapore based Ardentees (a.k.a ARDT) last April – well here’s a load more courtesy of their latest collection. The PR blurb says “The theme revolves around the protagonist’s dreams. Santiago Uceda – The road to succes

Known as an urban folk artist, Santiago Uceda is a famous Peruvian graphic designer and illustrator appreciated world wide. His works have been displayed at the Tender Loving Empire in Portland/ Oregon, but this is barely the only example of his exhibitions. His love for the visual urban art may be a result of the small community that he grew up in.Uceda says, a small community of artists is less competitive and more friendly and helping one another.
